IMS Platform Updates and improvements ready for the 2025 irrigation season.
All IMS users now benefit from the following improvements with also includes support for a new version of the tank level monitor with flow meter and water usage indication.
These improvements are part of our ongoing commitment to the IMS platform.
The extensive work completed includes:
• New Gateway remote management interface for support, including updated software upgrade methods and automation.
• Gateway connection from Farm to IMS in the cloud is now encrypted (SSL)
• Support for international time zones (outside AU and NZ)
• Gateways now include a “down detector” to diagnosis problems with the connection from farm to IMS
• Support for a new sensor gateway LSG01 which will replace the now obsolete LG001 Lora Gateway
• Support for new TLM features (pump control and flow metering) including new user interface cards and graphics
• Performance improvements: IPC status updates, battery usage history retrieval and gateway command handling to optimise traffic between the farm gateway and IMS
• User interface changes: Deprecated uninhibit function to avoid confusion, Improve IPC bulk settings editing, fix sprinkler operating state indications across time zones, fix issues with exporting data from old V3 IPC sites
• Support for an upcoming IMS Gateway replacement based on the RPi
• The Modbus service on the legacy “NUC” gateway upgraded to improve reliability and status monitoring
• Various other small bug fixes
